Rather similar to the Sketchbook page only with this one you can expect to find completed version of Yangi's W.I.T.C.H art.

W.I.T.C.H. ARTMy latest work to welcome all of you and thank you for visiting this section:
"Sweet like Honey"The WITCH group in their Power Girl outfit in a honey bubble. AS always I change some small details of the original Disney outfits. Why the honey? Well, I had to settle what to draw into the background. So first I chose the color. And then after toying around a little with the Photoshop brushes it was honey-ish! So basically you may call it a very practical accident.

Meant to comment on this way earlier when I first saw it, but I got caught up in certain other things I was doing so I had to put commenting off for a little while.
This is the first time really getting a good like at their Power Girl outfit. I know it was on the cover of the comic, but considering how they were in that, really couldn't get the same type of look that I can with this pick. "Sweet like Honey" I rather like that name for this pic.

Haha thanks! When I first saw the outfits I was really shocked. I thought: Nooo! THAT is supposed to be the next level up of their powers?! It's pink... PINK!! But it turned out as a publicity gag so it never appeared anywhere other than some pictures, a game as bonus outfit and special dolls that were sold. So not in the comics. But I too, came to like them somehow. And since they already are a little girly, I thought I'd give it even more by sparkling around with my brush *sparkle* and making it even sweeter! AND voilá!
Well I'm really happy you like it. However this might be the last picture from their power girl outfit. I've had quite enough of it. I guess I'll keep it in the comic I'm working on, since I already started but that's it.

So wait, the outfit was something that actually came from the comics as a joke?

Not the comics. It was a marketing strategy from Disney directly. The first time I saw those outfits was in the dress up game on the official WITCH website. You could get those outfits as a bonus after gaining a certain amount of points. Then later, a picture appeared of the guardians in that outfit and then even later, dolls were sold, having that outfit. That's pretty much everything that ever was made out of those outfits. They never appeared in the comics, nor on posters or anything.

WITCH Royal
Another picture series, I started years ago. I think it originated in these three pictures (see down) of the family from Will and Cole. It was one of the older stories of Cole where they where royal and had three daughters. On how far that still is the matter, we'll probably be able to read in his story section
So here the start of it all:
So much for the start. Then I planned on a whole series for all of the WITCH in royal gowns, but a lot of things changed and it took quite a while until I drew Irmas, which was the next one, and again some time until I drew Taranees. Today I think it's really funny, because I changed coloring, shading and the whole drawing style a lot during these times. And even Taranees, which is from about 2 months ago is still "old school" in comparison to what I discovered in the meantime.
Taranees outfit has change a big deal from first draft. Most of it popped into my head just as I was drawing that picture above. The last one, you can see is still in progress. I'll add some patterns to her dress for an asian touch and need to decide on the shading system, get some details in, set the background, stuff like that. The sketch for Hay Lins and Cornelias royal outfits are in the Sketchbook by the way.
Hay Lins Picture is finally finished, too. I'll remove the preview within the next days since it's of no specific value anymore The effects were supposed to be start but if you look from afar it Looks just like snow and actually I like that Impression more than the stars. Anyways I thought it was funny that People on DA reminded me, that her Dress was too short up front Never thought they would be so conservative. It's true thought that I didn't really recognise HOW short it was. Anyways I've seen her in shorter Outfits in strange poses in the groups galleries before so I think they've got the wrong Person to complain about. I might make it a little longer for the group picture though.

False Nightmares and strange goodbyes...
Okay These two Pictures both didn't turn out as planned. That's majorly the reason for the weird title.
Taranees' sad goodbye to her past life on earth, entering the halls of Kandrakar forever,... well... you'd suppose it should be a sad, warm kind of mood, right? That's what I thougt, too. But due to some time issues with the contest I was entering this with, I rushed through the coloring and that's how it turned out. The more I look at it the less I like it. The idea is nice but the coloring really messed it up. I think I might try it again some time.
As for Will's magical Transformation: It was supposed to be the personification of a fear hidden deep within Will, that the Heart - a living being - might one day suck out all of her energy, leaving nothing but an empty shell. You can see the original idea in the sketch here on the Website. Notice the crackles.... Well again, partly, due to time issues for a contest, it turned into a magical Transformation á la Sailor Moon. Yey for that.

Moving Nostalgic
Funny thing about this picture: a little while after I drew this, I moved myself. It wasn't really planned, that's the funny part. Anyhow it shows Irma in her old room, nothing left but one last box to get loaded before she leaves for College. I really liked the idea. As for her hair, I just wanted to try something fresh for her more adult Version. At first I thought of a Pony tail but it didn't work out so: Short hair it is!

Old things to new glory
A very old picture. It's my first smashing hit, so to say on deviantart.com. At least I impersonate it with this picture. I got so many views, favs and comments, like I never had before at that time and was really overwhelmed. But on the other hand I myself was very proud of that picture, too. I still like it, though the cuople might turn out better, if I drew it once more today. But I really like how the feel turned out and the rain sparkles on Will and her wings in front. That was one of my first pictures with Cole in it, I think. In any case a very memorable picture for me.
Count it as sentimental

I think it may have been the first one, if not then I'm pretty positive that it'd be the second at the very least. I always enjoyed the setting and the feel of this one a great deal.

Partial quote from Old things to new glory [Although I think you originally titled it as, Memories of Summer] If you ever do decide you want to re-draw it then I'd totally be completely for it! In large part for obvious reasons, but at the same time as great of an artist as you were back then, you are even better now, so it could be a great way to see how much you art has evolved over the years.

It wasn't anything I would have expected to happen any time soon as I knew you had so many things you wanted to get done first, but I figured maybe once you get to the point of being done with everything else that it could be nice for you to go back and re-do some of your older art.

I was actually thinking about that too... But I already have some great new ideas that barge in on me... If I was to redo something, I would like to draw that picture of Coles and Wills daughters once more. Well my Version of it, with those clothes probably but still... and I was thinking about doing a picture of all the WITCH Girls in their royal gowns, since each of the Portraits turned out to represent a different style of mine... but well... as I said: Already new ideas, that's why they get postponed every now and then. Okay and because not all the royal pictures are done yet. Hay Lin Needs to be finished and Cornelia is nothing but a sketch so far...

That sounds like a nice option to re-do as well.
I've actually always wondered if you would do a pic of all of WITCH together in their royal gowns, something like that just seems like a nice way to end that series.

Coming up is a Halloween picture of WITCH and a picture of the Generation before them CHYNK after their first flying lesson. I'mm not sure if I should post them here. I'm already planning on another picture of CHYNK, but don't worry my main Focus is still on WITCH! Anyhow I don't think an entirely new section would bejustified, as I won't be posting more than... say 3 Pictures of CHYNk in total, I guess. So maybe instead I'll just give them a section here and add all the Pictures to that post bit by bit...

I would hope for you too post them here!
As for how to go about the whole CHYKN thing, I'm not entirely sure. If you're only going to make a few pics of them then it might seems a little bit pointless to make a whole new thread just for them, but at the same time you could always keep the option open to do others in the future and keep this one as a W.I.T.C.H exclusive thread.

Yeah I was thinking about that too. If I was to take a commission for someone else's Next Gen for example, where would I post it? I guess if you see it that way, I should open a new thread after all, where I can post the CHYNK and other Generations.

I honestly wasn't even taking other Next Gens into consideration, but that is a good point as well. Really you could just probably open a thread in the W.I.T.C.H section for CHYKN and other OCs that are created for W.I.T.C.H without actually having to put them were the W.I.T.C.H art is.
Either way works really, it just comes down to which way you prefer to do things.

Off with the Hair!!!
Happy Halloween everyone! I hope you'll come to enjoy this day as much as I will Even though I can't watch Horror Movies I truely love Halloween! I like costumes and theme-parties and reading ghost stories, stuff like that! Besides I looove autumn!
So this is the Picture I made for a contest on deviantArt.com. Sice I'm Holding a Madhatter Tea Party this year, I gave it a wonderland-ish touch making Hay Lin the Queen of Pumpkins (from "the queen of hearts") and the title "off with the hair" (from "off with the head")... well anyways I like how it turned out, even though the shading is a little rough.
And, because I like old movies and I love how it Looks: Here the Picture in black an White! ... (MORE TO COME)
Doesn't it remind you of really old Horror-movies? Those sound-less old movies that rarely Show on Tv? Well it certainly does to me.

Christmas Wishes
So here are the Pictures I made last year for Christmas. Since I'm still in no shape of getting them ready or draw a new one for this one, I thought I'd at least upload These here for those of you who don't know them yet. Originally I was planning on drawing all of them in the same detailing as Will but I didn't make it. I had hoped to finish it this year instead but... oh well. Maybe I'll get to it sometime around Christmas... Don't tell me... I know it's spelled wrongly *die in shame...*
Hope you all have a very good time this year and a very merry Christmas!

It's (of cause) a Cornelia picture that will be called something like "Black Lilies and Roses" or something like it and it will concern the matter of good and evil within a Person. In my mind it Looks amazing, but I'll have to get the concept down before I can say anything specific. Might not work out after all.

So, would it be something like one half of her is normal and the other half has a dark look to it? something like that or am I way off?
