Q&A - JROCK meets WITCH

This was Coles idea:

*Steps onto stage. Clears throat. Announces:* Dear visitors, guests of honor, dear members. You've found yourself in a place, where you can ask direct questions to all characters of the JROCK stories. From the old WITCH, new guardians all the way over to a cat that might have strayed the streets in one of the story parts, but might not have gotten an own appearence in my introduction section. *winks, applause rises*

So feel free to ask any character anything and they will answer in their own voices. Here they are! *presents character list, JROCK waving from a corner of the stage as special honor guests, Taranee winking through a screen as the oracle*
Let the games begin!

Note:
If the character in question doesn't answer truthfully, in a short manner, or not at all, it means either that it's just how the character would react on a question like that, or it means, that you might have asked something that I want to reveal during story and not necissarily before.

1) To the cat: Why were you straying the streets?

2) To Kia: Why the hood? Don't get me wrong, I love the hood, but why the hood?

3) To Jess: See as how you are a huge fan of CC, how does feel knowing that you and her are Guardians together?

4) To CC: You are part of a team with one of your fan-girls and she is your leader... how terrified are you?

5) To Kia: Your team is under the watchful eye of two trainers, what of which is your older sister, even when saving the universe you still have to listen to your sister... younger siblings never win do they?

6) To Josephine and Olivia: What made you two decide to take the task of being the new Guardians trainers?

7) To CC: It's hard enough for the rest of the Guardians to live two lives with their normal lives and Guardians, but how do you feel having to live between three lives, your normal live, Guardian life and celebrity life?

8) To all of the Guardians: Be it only for a day or even a permanent switch, if you could chose, what elemental power would you like to have?

That's all of the questions for now, I'll certain be sure to ask more later whenever they come to mind. Especially for Rukia and O-Hani who I'm sorry to say I didn't have any just for them questions.

I hope their is no issue with the way I have this questions laid out. I tried to follow the same color scheme that you did for them on the Introduction page, but gave up when I couldn't get the same colors.

Answers:

1) "Miau?" *scruffeling noise*.... runs off.

2) Blinks puzzled then grabs the edge of the hood: "Hm... good question. I guess I just like having somehing over
    my head..." blinks again indecisively. "Plus, it's a cool accessoir for dancing." grins.

3) Blushes a bit. "It's really cool! But I havn't talked to her much..." fingers around with her shirt nervousely. "I
    really am her fan, though..." lightens up: "I have this huge poster in my room at home and that other big foto
    and aaaaaaall of her CD's!" speeds up while talking: "Have you ever seen her videos? Soo awesome!     Imeanreallyshe'ssoamazingandcoolandglittery! Haveyoueverseenheroutfitonstage? blablablablabla"

4) Fake-smile fades to a blank face: "L-leader? For real?!" looks around with anger: "Why did nobody tell me
    that?!" crosses arms. "Well I wouldn't say SHE terrifies me... It's more the... other thing that... hum."
    hawks once or twice. "the interview is over!" leaves.

5) laughs. "Yeah, I know, right? Even when I shake the earth a little... she still wins." Looks into the camera with
    a serious expression: "Always."

6) The two exchange glances. Olivia motions the Frenchwoman to start. Joesphine winks slinky and holds a finger
    to her lips: "secret." Olivia shakes her head with a smile then answers herself: "Ever seen my sister? No way I
    get her out there alone. I mean really... she can be such a child." mumbles something to herself, then quickly
    adds: "Of cause I took it because of the honor... uhm... you know, Kandrakar and all. Okay, okay, I volunteered.
    There. I admitted it. I'm an overprotective sister. What can I do."

7) In the middle of signing pictures in front of a crowd of fans. Looks into the camera with exhaustion: "What
    normal life?" the fans run off squealing with excitement. CC thiniks for a moment, then says: "I guess,
    everyone of us has their package to carry. It's not easy for them either. Being away from family, friends,
    boyfriends maybe. The only difference is: I'm already used to that." She gives a slight smile.

8) They look at each other.
    Rhinoa: "Oh, oh! I know! I want to fly! So... air" grins.
    Kia rubs her head and looks over at Hyona who gazes at her with a don't-even-dare look. Hurriedly she looks
    away.
    Hyona gets focused by the camera, mike in her face. She looks up: "Huh? Oh! Na-ah, no way am I going to
    change my element!" Pushes away the camera.
    CC waves around with her hands, thinking in an elegent way. "I might like water." Rukia grins at her: "Uh, I can
    show you something if you like!" CC gets a little nervouse: "Ah, well not right now... I mean we don't really
    change elements, do we. Right? Right?!", whirls her head around in excitement.
    Jess: Hm... element... I really don't know..."
    Kia blinks, then exclaims: "Hey, wait a second! Why does nobody choose my element?" pats the earth under her
    feet: "Earth is a real gentel element. Smooth and warm and-"
    "Dirty?", Rhinoa laughs, suddenly getting thrown off her feet by a slight tremble. Hyona hits her forehead.


So much for the greenflag lap! *stands on stage in spotlight* Thanks for participating in this so awesome a game! *applause* ... *bows into several directions* Thank you... thank you. *more applause*
Now we will set new rules for the future questoning-game. We wouldn't want the girls to get too short a time to answer, would we? *applause* Alright, alright! From this day on *announces* every question-asker is permitted two questions a time, I repeat: two questions. After these have been answered, another two questions may be asked. Further more I'd like the question-askers to headline their set of questions with the bold written word "Questions", just like I will headline the answers with "Answers". Now, let the games begin!!! *roaring applause, canons shoot glitter into the stadium.

Questions

This time I have two questions for a previous Guardian, Hay Lin.

1) Among all of WITCH you are the only one with children, so how do you feel about that?

2) Seeing as how your grandmother was your idol and a lot how you are is from her and consider that Mei-mei seems a bit like that as well, could she be viewed as Yan Lin version 3.0?

Answers

1) grins: "Proud of cause! I mean... sure, at first I was a little worried I had rushed into things. And to be honest,
    Mei-Mei wasn't really planned", hawks, "but we're both more than happy about her arrival and it bettered our
    life a lot. Thanks to Taranee I got payment for my teaching work at the magic school so we could get ourselves
    that lovely house and especially Han plays in the garden a lot. Looking back I wouldn't have done it otherwise."

2) Blinks irritated then laughs until she holds her stomach. Wipes away a tear: "That's a strange question. First of
    all, my Grandmother and me might have the same powers, but I guess Mei-Mei resembles her even more than
    I do. In fact we're not that similar at all. She grew up in a different time, a time where things were a lot stricter
    and people often didn't have a choice what became of them. It was decided by their parents. But I think
    grandma was still some kind of a rioter back then." laughs at the thought. "I guess Mei-mei has my haper-
    activity and Grandmas' effort and stamina. She's also terribly into sports like her father. So I guess she's some
    kind of an upgrade of all her former genes. A super Lin!"Laughs again and falls from the chair.

Questions

This may be going against things a little in making sure that everyone has the time to get to answer questions, but I have two questions that I'd like to ask all of J.R.O.C.K, Trainers included.

1)What is your personal goal in life?

2) What is something that you are interested in that you would probably be embarrassed about if someone found out?

Answers

The questions stick to the rules *announce to audience*, however we had to make certain changes, to engage the girls on answering about these deliquent questions. *winks, applause*. To ensure their privacy, every person in question was put into a foto booth. They are soundproove so that only us will hear the answer and not one of the other teammates. We shall begin! *flashing lights, applause*

1) Kia: Interrupts the questionasker and shoots out: "Pro-Dancer!!!" grins widely... nothing happens... "Oh! And
    I want to be on stage with Izzy Celiot." blinks innocently.
    Rhinoa: smiles shyly: "My best friend and I always dreamt of opening up a cocktail bar. I'm not sure if they would
    even sell on the island we live on, but I'd still like to try."
    Jess: swallows. Sweats with guilt as she answers: "To have a dog?" waits nervously if she is believed.
    CC: puts on her superstar fake smile: "Why, to serve my dear fans, of cause and become an idol for everyone."
    waves into camera.
    Hyona: looks away. "Surviving. Now get lost."
    Olivia: sighs. "To not be responsible for anything or anyone for one day.", drowses off in thoughts. "Is that too
    much to ask?"
    Josephine: grins knowingly, then answers with an innocent smile: "Opening up a magazine would be nice."

Well well, what a bunch. Seems like we hit some soft spots there that even the most honest of them turn to lying... Oh well, I guess we called upon it. Let's see how the second question round developes. Here we go!

2) Josephine: Grins in amusement: "I like these-eh... what do you call them?" shows with her fingers "these
    little plushy animal figures with glitter all over and huge eyes..."
    Olivia: smiles nostalgically: "I once had that crush on that" laughs "terrible teeny idol Dustin Wheever."
    Sighs. "I know what you're gonna say. But I was young and... stupid." laughs again.
    Hyona: "I'm not gonna say it again!" leaves cabin.
    Jess: Smiles shyly but admits: "I like ghosts. I know they might not exist but... if they did I would
    sure like to meet one."
    Rhinoa: holds back in excitement, then bursts out: "I'm a real comic freak!" giggles over herself.
    CC: laughs in remembering, turns to camera readily: "I was... into fairies when I was a kid. I had that silly
    wand... Silver with a glowing stone, shaped like a heart. It was completely plastic but I still have that thing
    in a box. Reminds me of the fun I had... and how lucky I am." a spark enlightens her eyes.
    Kia: wheels her head around insecure. "Wh-what? I-I don't have that... I only like dancing!"

*steps onto stage with mike in hand* Well well, here we are again with an all new round of Question and Answers! This time we'll Focus on our Special guests, the WITCH gang! *spots on the waving women* We have some lovely questions for you from a fan of yours. Sadly he can't be with us today in Person, but he wrote a letter. *hold letter up so everyone can see* I'll read the questions to you in his stead so... are you ready? Here we go! *dramatic Music*
The first questions go to.... WILL! *single spot on Will*

1) What was it like to wield the Heart of Kandrakar? Did you get any bonus powers besides the one you already have (or had I guess?)? Also, why collect FROGS of all animals? What's the story behind that?

2) I've got a question you might have an easier time with: When W.I.T.C.H first formed, did you think you were going to be as good a leader as you were?

3) One other thing, and this one goes to the rest of W.I.T.C.H as well. After giving up the Heart, did you tell your parents about guarding the Veil, or did you decide to still keep it a secret?

4) I was wondering this next question for a while. If you had been chosen as Guardians when you were younger, and less mature, you think you might have used your powers for personal benefit? I'll use Taranee as an example. If she had been a Fire Guardian when she was less mature, she might have used her fire to cheat and work less hard to do things, like setting up a campfire, for one.

ANSWERS

1) Will scratches her head, then smiles apologetic and shrugs her shoulders. "Gee, I don't know... those are some tough questions. Let's see... The heart. The heart was..." Her hand moves gently towards her chest, where it rests and the red headed woman closes her eyes in memory. "It was warm and light. It felt like... pure joy and something like... a new born hope." Her eyes opens again and she laughs. "It's hard to describe, really, sorry. New powers... well not really, no. I mean we already had our third uniform. According to the rule book of magical transformations this already means we have reached our Limits. I still talk to electronic devices. That's one of my favorites. I also like the dislocation even if we didn't use it that much later on. Oh! Or this funny toy Yan Lin, er I mean the former Oracle gave me. That was wicked! A bit tough at first but I eventually got the hang of it." Nods proudly.
"And frogs, I really can't say. I've loved them as far as I can remember. My first plushy was a frog so maybe that's why?" Shrugs again, than grins and throws her pointing finger in the direction of the question-asker: "Besides! Frogs are A-W-E-S-O-M-E!"

2) Will laughs loudly. Beside her Cornelia grins. The red head finally answers: "I'm sorry! I'm done laughing. To be honest, I never saw myself as a leader at first. I couldn't even imagine being one! I was right in the middle of puberty and full of self doubt. Not to mention the trouble with my mom." She scratches her head again and laughs: "I didn't make it easy for everyone. But with time...."
"She became the great leader we all know and love!", Irma shouted out and Hay Lin agreed with a loud: "Yip!" and swung her arms around her friends.

3) They exchange glances, Hay Lin looks guilty. "No we... didn't. Will and I had the most trouble. After grany... left, and became the Oracle even later it was always so hard on me to Keep it a secret, seeing how much my partents missed her. I did ask her, if I could tell them now but she decided it would be better to leave it the way it was. She said they needed closure... My own Family knows though."
Will takes Cornelia's hand warmly and answers for herself: "I was temped to tell because of William. I wanted him to become a good magical Student but it's hard to teach your Young brother, when the parents aren't allowed to know in what. It would have been nice to tell them but then again I don't want to imagine the dispute we would have gotten into." She giggles. Cornelia sighs. "We were already grown up by the time, leaving for college and what not. My dad died short after. I didn't get the Chance to tell him and my mother, well she had more than enough on her hands."
Taranee and Irma smile at each other. The brunette speaks up: "We agreed that it was never meant to be anything other than a secret."
"Times have changed. Nowadays Magic isn't something so uncommon anymore. Just look at our School for example. Those children Need their parents to understand."
Will agrees: "It wasn't meant to be. Not for us anyway."

4) Taranee purses her lips to a smolder, then gleams acusational to her sides where the others try to look every other direction. "Well, some of us use their power for own benefit anyways."
"Only for small things", Irma says holding her hand up to swear before the judge. Hay Lin jumps up: "Oh yeah? What about that picture you made your water draw?"
"Oh please that was years ago..."
"It was art class and you got a mark for it! Cheater!"
Irma crosses her arms: "Geez, I never knew you could be so resentful."
Will grins and adds: "Besides, Hay Lin I saw you often use your power to dry."
"That's something entirely different! I wanted to prevent a cold.", the asian exclaims grumpy.
Taranee Points to Will and Cornelia: "Will uses it with her electric friends and Corny to rescue her flowers... or get her room tidied up."
They giggle. Cornelia smirks knowingly. "And what about you, Madam Oracle? Remember Uriah?"
Taranee's shoulders go up guiltily. She laughs nervous, then drops the act and admits: "Alright, alright, we all used our powers for own benefit so I guess nothing would have changed if we were younger at the time."

Answers

Without looking at each other, Hyona and Kia answer in synch: "Annoying!"
They exchange a glance of wonder but that's it. Rhinoa grins and shrugs her shoulders. 
"I would use 'exhausting'. I mean it can be nice and all but..."
"Most of the times it's just not", Hyona finishes. Agreeing they pass the question towards CC and Jess. The redheaded starlette gazes into the light for a moment. 
"I always wanted to have a younger brother... or maybe a sister? A brother is way cuter but a sister... I could dress her up as so many things and she would adore me for being a star and..." She keeps on babbling, caught in her dream land, until Kia knowingly taps Rhinoa's shoulder and sais: "If her younger sister isn't the better star"
In an instant, the babbling stops and red floods of hair swirl around to face Kia:"What?!"
The Australian exposes her teeth in a sly smirk: "Oh, you know. She'd have the same genes so the probability that she'd turn out a talent such as you is rather high. She might be cuter, maybe her hair would be curled instead of streight and when the time comes..."
Rhinoa laughs, her hand making a dismissive gesture: "...she takes your place and throws you out of business! Younger siblings loooove to surpass their older ones, trust me."
Hyona makes a "hmpf" sound to show her disapproval, while Kia blushes a little. After a while of consideration, CC admits: "Hm, maybe I'm better off without any siblings after all. I wouldn't be able to see them much anyways."
Silence wraps around them. Slowly, all eyes move towards Jessica. The blonde slides further down into her chair. 
"I'd... rather not answer that one."
The severe tone of her voice lingers above their heads a little longer than intended. The other girls exchange a glance.

Here we are again with the second round of the questions of our dear Fan! Last time we couldn't cover all of his questions so today we'll make that up to him by having a special guest! 
Everybody! Welcome with me the shimmering Queen Elyon!!! *massive cheering, Elyon waves politely, then grins to her WITCH friends*
Our Special Guest didn't have the chance to appear in the fanfictions before they were changed *People make aw sounds* so here's your chance to ask her anything about her later life! But before we get to that, let's have a look at those two missing questions! Here we go! 


Questions

1) *Laughs* okay, okay. Will, I heard a rumor you first learned you could talk to electronics during an incident with raisin toast. Care to enlighten on that?

2) Has any lessons you learned as Guardians helped you through life post-W.I.T.C.H?



Answers

1) Irma and Hay Lin giggle on the qiet. Cornelia and Taranee exchange a questioning glimps, while Will smirks. "Let's just say we had... different opinions."

Irma explodes with laughter: "You should've seen her! She kept yelling and shaking that poor thing!"

"She didn't want to give me my deserved breakfast!", Will defends herself.

"Oh, oh! The name! What was the name again? Jade... Jasmine...", Hay Lin thinks aloud.

Will crosses her arms and rolls her eyes: "Judy, her name was Judy."

They all start laughing.  

2) Will crosses her arms and leans back with a grim face: "Clones really are a bad idea. Not just in the movies." She pauses. Then adds: "Don't do that. It's a bad idea."

The others look at each other and laugh. Cornelia's eyes grow a bit sad when she sais: "There's a reason why we shouldn't use our powers for own purposes at least not for serious issues. And... losing something or someone... is just another part of life. I lost my best friend and found her again. I lost my love who got turned into a flower and broke all laws to revive him just to break up and a few years ago, I lost my father. But that's just how it is. Nothing is eternal and we have to accept that."

Hay Lin lays a hand on her shoulder and they smile at each other.

Irma fiddles with her shirt nervously, then runs through her long curled hair: "I guess you shouldn't turn people into frogs... I tend to do that a lot." Hay Lin snorts! Irma punches her slightly against the shoulder and continues: "But what I really learned is that no matter how dark the times seem, if you have friends and family, there's always hope."

They hug each other. Taranee nods slightly. She thinks for a moment, then starts speaking: "We all learned an aweful lot as guardians, as humans. We learned about true responsibilities, teamwork even through a thunderstorm of emotions and sometimes respecting the rules that have been made before our time. We learned to follow our hearts and that nothing is perfect, or unbound to the permanent change of life. We learned that some things are not what they seem to be and that every evil has or had something good to it too."

Cornelia grins: "Hear, hear."

"Taranee's right.", Will admits. "We all learned so much it's hard to tell what's most important. Everything we've been through, everything we experienced no matter bad or good, formed our present and future."

"Maybe the best lesson of all is...", Hay Lin starts, and the others join in: "...the one of friendship."
