Time to take a look at another old story of mine.
Chrono WITCH was my Chrono Trigger/W.I.T.C.H fusion story.
This was a story that I was working on years ago, being created around the same time that I was considering a series of WITCH/Final Fantasy stories that followed a specific Final Fantasy game a great deal just using W.I.T.C.H characters, my OCs, and making some other specific changes here and there, despite that though, Chrono WITCH was always meant to be its own more original thing, not something that followed the game. However, despite that intent, the story ended up only being a few chapters in before being deleted because it became the very thing I didn't want it to become, a close telling of the game with a few minor changes here and there.
The character roles that were laid out was; Cole as a Magus/Original Role, Will as Crono, Taranee as Lucca and Cornelia as Marle. The story played similar to the very beginning of the game, the only differences really being in Cole's part of helping Will shortly after she are in 600 AD and a small conversation with Will and Taranee after Cornelia disappeared, outside of those minor things, everything else was pretty much the same and because of that I ended up deleting the story.
For a long time after that though I always tried to get back to working on the story. I always felt that because of how Chrono Trigger was a game about time-travel that there was a lot of different things that I could do and in any time, be they more serious things that happened in the past that effected the future or some humorous things that could happened if some of the main characters were somehow related by being ancestors/descendants. The idea of being able to travel to the past and change something that effects the present and future in any way someone choses appealed quite a bit to me, there was a lot that could be done from the heroes or the villain's side.
The big issue I kept coming to though was that I could never really come up with the right role for the characters. At times I thought I could make things a little easier for me and just keep WITCH similar to how they are and make the story a little bit more of a fusion and have them be Guardians, just they are forced to go to different time periods and probably just come up with roles for other characters. While I did feel that, that was a pretty good idea, I kept leaning towards wanting to do things that involved more of Chrono Trigger and try and try to make all of WITCH and the other characters really fit in that universe. Even then though, I did try a little bit more of a fusion of making WITCH be Guardians, but each be from different time periods, but still somehow being brought together as a team, but even then I really couldn't lean much towards that route.
There's really not much of any of the roles I can remember that I gave the characters for the last draft of the story, but I think for the most part it was actual character roles from the characters Chrono Trigger, just with a few tweaks here and there. The only idea I rather liked was going by a theory in the game that it was actually the Planet itself that opened the time portals for the heroes to save the Planet itself, only to add to that the Planet also created a being to help protect it. There was a few characters that were considered for that role, Cole, Hiro and Cornelia being really the only likely ones. Depending on what other directions I went with it, Cole or Hiro would have most likely be the one to have played that role.
As time has passed though, I've gotten less and less interested in the story. As of now I really don't see me every actually working on the story again, but I don't want to completely close the door on the idea, but it will likely take some big inspiration and desire to hit me before I really even consider trying to work on the story again.

Continuing with another old story of mine, this time I'm going to do a three-in-one thing with W.I.T.C.H/Final Fantasy VIII, IX and X.
Honestly there really isn't much to say about these three stories. I've already mentioned this before in a few previous posts, but to mention it again with these stories, I was doing a series of stories of W.I.T.C.H/Final Fantasy fusions that followed the games a great deal using W.I.T.C.H characters as well as my OCs and making certain tweaks here and there.
Since during the original drafts and only written versions of these three stories, Cole was my only hero OC, he and WITCH took over 6 of the main roles [In VIII's case they took over all of the roles] while other characters were mostly randomly decided.
Although I can't recall all exact roles, I think they played out like this.
WITCH/Final Fantasy VIII: Cole as Squall, Will as Rinoa, Irma as Zell, Taranee as Quistis, Cornelia as Irvine and Hay Lin as Selphie taking care of the main playable characters from the game. Seroth and Phobos both played Seifer/Original Role, Kido and Cedric both played Raijin/Original Role, Miranda played a Fujin/Original Role, Elyon as Ellone/Original Role, Nerissa as Ultimecia/Original Role, Siegfried as Laguna, Yumi as Raine and Susan as Julia Heartilly. I believe that was all of the roles I had listed for characters, can't recall exactly.
WITCH/Final Fantasy IX: Cole as Zidane/Original Role, Will as Garnet, Irma as Zidane, Taranee as Eiko, Cornelia as Beatrix, Hay Lin as Vivi, Phobos as Freya, Cedric as Amarant, Caleb as Steiner, Frost as Quina, Nerissa as Garland, Siegfried and Yumi as Garland/Original Role, Seroth as Kuja/Original role, Kido as Kuja, Susan as Jayne and Anna as Baku. Blank, Marcus, Cinna and Ruby also appeared being played as themselves. During these earlier times I often used Phobos, Cedric and sometimes other normally used villains as heroes.
WITCH/Final Fantasy X: Cole as Tidus, Will as Yuna, Irma as Wakka, Taranee played an Original Role as a priestess in training, Cornelia as Lulu, Hay Lin as Rikku, Phobos as Auron, Cedric as Kimahri, Caleb as Wakka/Original Role, Nerissa as Seymour, Siegfried as Jecht, Yumi as Tidus' Mom and Susan as Braska.
Between the three, WITCH/FFVIII made it the furthest in chapters by actually hitting two, while IX and X only had their one chapter. VIII made it to the Fire Cavern, but instead of the Fire GF, Ifrit, Cole and Taranee fought a giant fire lizard.
Although it was actually X that went further in the means of written drafts. I tried to change and alter a great deal of things especially as I decided not to follow the games anymore, created Raphael and Hiro, altered Kido a great deal to make him Kaido and made him and Seroth as the heroes while making Phobos and the others go back as actually be villains. Although I did manage to involved a little more originality into the roles for the characters, I can't really recall what roles I created and who I gave them too, but none of them really took of too me.
I've tried numerous times to keep these three on par with WITCH/FFVII, but they could never match up, even when the inspiration and desire was there I could never come up with the right ideas for them. I haven't tried anything with these three stories in a long, long time, but now with FFX-HD coming out sometime soon, its possible that I may give it another chance, and along with it probably give VIII and IX another chance to see if I can do anything with them, for now its just a wait and see approach.

Time to take another look at an old story, the difference between this story and other old stories, this one was actually finished. The story is Warriors of the Crystals and was the second story that I wrote that I posted online. So its an old story both in that since and the fact that I don't have it anymore. Warriors of the Crystals was inspired by one idea that I randomly had in which Cole was created as a crystal that took on a human form and in the process of doing so created 8 crystals that would serve the purpose that he served of giving the planet the life. The story was my closest thing to a fusion or crossover that I did early on, but it was never meant to be either. It was W.I.T.C.H characters as well as my own OCs, set in a Final Fantasy-like setting, particular close to how the originally games in the series was and different creatures, and towns from the Final Fantasy universe was used, the point of Crystals being a focus was another similar thing to Final Fantasy, although that was more coincidental then anything else and the characters abilities followed that of certain Job Classes from the Final Fantasy series. The plot of the story was for the heroes; Cole the paladin, Will the White Mage/Summoner, Irma the Ninja, Taranee the Monk, Cornelia the Archer, Hay Lin the Black Mage, Phobos the Dark Knight, Cedric the Dragoon, Caleb the Samurai and Kido the Blue Mage. [Kido wasn't introduced into close to the end of the story] to protect the crystals from the evils trying to destroy them so as to save the world. The crystals possessed 8 common elements from the Final Fantasy series. Light, Darkness, Thunder, Water, Fire, Earth, Air and Ice. Each one trying to be destroyed by a certain creature from the Final Fantasy series. Ultima against Light, Scarmiglione against Darkness, Fafnir against Thunder, Kraken against Water, Marilith against Fire, Lich against Earth, Tiamat against Air and Shinryu against Ice. Ultima the High Seraph is the final boss of Tactics as well as the Light Summon in XII, Scarmiglione is the Archfiend of Earth in IV, but is an undead so I felt he would fit there, Fafnir is a common name for a dragon in the series with a design from the dragons in XII, Kraken is the Fiend of Water in the original game, Marilith is the Fiend of Fire in the original game, Lich the Fiend of Earth from the original game, Tiamat the Fiend of Air in the original game and Shinryu is often a superboss in the games debuting in Final Fantasy V with a look of being made of crystal which made him fit Ice. The crystals was also meant to serve a special purpose, like in how original game they gave characters their Job Classes, in this the crystals gave the characters a special armor transformation fitting in with the element of the crystal. Irma, Taranee, Cornelia and Hay Lin each acquired their actual elements of Water, Fire, Earth and Air, Caleb acquired Light, Phobos acquired Darkness, Cedric acquired Ice, Kido acquired Thunder, Will actually acquired a secret ninth crystal created from the Great Crystal's heart, the Great Crystal being, Cole. Will's element could either have been viewed as Energy or non-elemental, while Cole had none. The villains were part of a group that Kido was also part over that was led by, Seroth, a crystal created by Cole when he was still a Great Crystal to watch over a small town, but was given human form by Cole when a young couple without any children asked the Seroth crystal to answer their prayers and gift them with a child, Seroth feeling sorry for the people asked Cole to make the couple's prayer come true and Cole turned Seroth human. Seroth losing his adopted parents had made him angry at the Great Crystal and made him set out to find Cole to destroy him. Along the way Seroth partnered with, Nerissa, an ancient being who along with Himerish was given the task of protecting the Great Crystal by their Teacher who created the Great Crystal, over time though Nerissa grew angry at the world for being allowed to live their lives while all she could do was watch the Great Crystal. This caused Nerissa to acquire a great deal of monsters and try to destroy the Great Crystal waging war against Himerish and the Summoners. It was during this time that the Great Crystal between almost being destroyed by Nerissa and wanting to save as many lives as it could turned itself human making sure to be found by a woman who desired a child of her own, Nerissa shortly after that time was sealed away by Himerish for 16 years before being found by Seroth who found her because Nerissa had the power to reach out to him even beyond her seal.
There was a great deal more that I had planned for the story that never actually appeared in the story because of me being new to writing things that I would post online. At times the story was to expand not only in its own depth, but expand with other stories, forming a story based on Nerissa and Himerish's teacher that created the Great Crystal, to even the possibility of a sequel taking place years after the story.
The ending for the story involved Cole taking his place as the Great Crystal, although keeping his human form so as to keep the world from dying, but given the task to Seroth who was guarded by Kido; until a set time when Cole would once again take over his position as Seroth couldn't maintain it forever. Cole resurrected Nerissa given her the chance to live a normal life and allowing Himerish to do the same while Cole went to be with his friends.
Amongst all of the changes, one of the biggest that I was going to do was the ending. I was leaning towards a far different ending in which Cole would create a place like Kandrakar where people could go upon their death, but still be with friends and family. Years where to have passed when one of the heroes was to be telling their grandchildren of the adventure they had, some of which questioned the truth to it until Cole himself would have arrived to escort the Hero to Kandrakar as their time had come.
Compared to how things are now with my other characters and all of them being heroes, plus being more experienced in writing now, Warriors of the Crystals was far to outdated for me to care to keep around. While I have considered the possibility of doing a re-make to the story, it seems rather unlike that I will deal with the story again. However I don't like to completely close the door on things and while it is highly unlikely, it is still a possibly that someday I may go back and re-work on Warriors of the Crystals.

Moving on to another old story we have X-WITCH. A story that I had actually forgotten I wrote. X-WITCH was also my first actual crossover story, though the actual X-Men characters roles was for the most part meant to be small, characters like Wolverine and Beast mostly serving as teachers to the main cast, they were involved and going to have their importance.
Before my WITCH Hearts series came along, X-WITCH was my story that was generally well received. X-WITCH was the first story I really planned that was meant to have a lot of dark turns, and although the beginning was a little dark, it wasn't nearly as dark as it was going to get, but I think it was that darkness to it that made it so appealing.
To situations like the beginning when Will first discovered her powers, to meeting, being frightened by someone with the good guys who you honestly don't know is on their side or will attack you at any instant, to running away and shortly ater realizing she didn't know where anything was or who anyone is, to being chased by a gang of people who just want to hurt you or worse, to being hunted by a giant robot, to being saved by the guy you still don't know if he is going to hurt you or not, to becoming friends with other mutants at the mansion, to hearing horrifying creams from within the mansion she is staying, to thinking the people there don't care about you, to being captured by the creator of the robot who hunted you down with the intent of being experimented on before being torutured more and killed, before being saved by the people at the mansion and finally getting a little breather. All of this happening to Will in just the first few chapters really showed the type of direction this story would take.
The story had a large cast of characters that appeared in the 5 chapters that wrote introducing not only the group of heroes, but also introducing a group of villains as well as villains who stood on their own opening up a large possibility of different storylines and events all mixing in together forming the type of thing you'd likely expect to see from the actual X-Men comics and TV series.
The story had a lot of possibilities before being ended at chapter 5 with Taranee's capture and imprisonment on the island of Genosha, which any fans of the X-Men series is aware of the type of things that can happen there and for those who don't, let me simplify it by saying that really, really bad things happen there, all of this really just showing even more how the story was going to get darker and really be similar to how the X-Men comics are in that sense.
There was a lot of side-projects planned for it that would have turned X-WITCH into a series that would have been even more similar to the X-Men comics in how there would have been different numerous universe that were all similar in ways that connected them, but different in so many other ways.
However despite all that was done and all that had the possibility to be done, something about the story never really clicked for me. As time went on it started to become me doing the story more so for the people who enjoyed it as opposed to doing it because I enjoyed it and when I can't enjoy something I can't bring myself to keep it going and because of that I deleted it.
There have been numerous times since then that I have considered re-doing the story and while at times the desire and inspiration are there and can last for a little while, eventually it always dies down and when it does, I just really don't care any for the idea of doing the story. Even now I really can't say if the story will ever be done or not, I won't close the door on the idea as like I've mentioned before I like to keep my options open and not do away with something completely, still though I do find it a bit unlikely that I will ever do the story.

Another old story of mine and possibly the last one unless I recall others that I may have forgotten, or if I decided that maybe I want to give a look into other stories that really never actually written and posted at any point, but had a written chapter draft or had a lot of attention to it in working on the story, plot and characters. Or if I decided to take a look at some stories that I know for certain I have or will be working on that went through a lot of different changes over time.
But I digress, on too the old story. My first written and posted story, Forsaken Hero.
This story was originally planned to be a little bit more on the dark side then what it ended up being. It was never meant to be deeply dark, but have its dark moments and while it did have some dark moments, overall it was a lot lighter in its setting and tone then I originally wanted it to be.
The title fits what the story was originally meant to focus on. A hero who was forsaken by the very people he tried to protect. Part of that did go into the story, but it was only a little.
A lot of changes was made from the original draft in large part because I wasn't as experienced in posting written stories as I am now and I felt that a lot of originally planned things might be a bit to much for me at my early points and figured it would be best to simplify things early on until I got the hang of things. One major change that happened was that I originally wanted Cole to be the leader of the Forsaken throughout most of the story, I wanted him to be that hero turned villain before the events of the story because of how he was mistreated, but then eventually go back to being a hero as the story progressed, him being a hero turned villain was stated to have happened, but it all happened before the story took place and Cole was back to being a hero when the story started.
The Forsaken were as their team name stated, Forsaken people for different and various reasons, some for understandable reasons which made them rather sympathetic villains, which is what I wanted for most of them, but some for viewed as Forsaken for their cruel actions. One thing I wanted to do was go into depth on each member of the Forsaken and the world they came from. Each of that was to play a large part as the plot focused on a story that crystal that was broken into 8 elemental pieces that were originally meant to give its wielder immense power, but that point was later used for Warriors of the Crystals and WITCH Fantasy Hearts, instead they were simple elemental shards that were useless separately, but when brought back together to form the Great Crystal gave the wielder of the Great Crystal the ability to completely change the entire universe to however they see fit, or even destroy it. While there was a crystal shard at most of the Forsaken's homeworld, a few of them were only mentioned as being taken from the Forsaken and that was it.
The Forsaken was comprised of Cole at some point as its originally leader forsaken by his people of Angelon for killing his parents, their king and queen although done at their request to prevent their minds from becoming more and more corrupted and killing their own people.
Seroth originally the second-in-command and then leader upon Cole's assumed death and then being revealed to be alive, but siding with WITCH. Seroth was forsaken by Angelon for the past of his ancestors and their traitors nature against the people of Angelon and for being a friend of Cole's. Seroth always had the same death options planned. Either being killed alongside Kido in a two-on-one battle against Cole, being killed one-on-one by Cole or sacrificing his life to destroy the Great Crystal. In the end Seroth went with the later option, he himself being like Cole and fitting the title of the story, Forsaken Hero.
Kido originally the third-in-command and then the second-in-command upon Cole's assumed death and then being revealed to be alive, but siding with WITCH. Kido was forsaken for the same exact reason as Seroth. Kido always had one of four possible deaths either being killed by Cole in a single battle, killed by Seroth on accident, killed by Cole in a two-on-one battle with him and Seroth against Cole or by sacrificing his life with Seroth to destroy the completed Great Crystal. In the end, Kido was killed accidental by Seroth.
Sebastian from the world of Phantasma. I had no actual reason for why he was forsaken as he was one of the characters I didn't give much of any depth to. Despite that though, Sebastian was one of my favorite members of the Forsaken [Next to Seroth and Kido, and Cole when he was part of the group] because of that he was in a sense next in command after Seroth and Kido. I had originally intended for him to be killed about halfway through the story, but enjoyed him so much that I put it off until nearly the end and even then I altered it quite a bit. He was planned to be killed by WITCH, Phobos, Cedric and Caleb as Phobos and Cedric had joined with WITCH for the concern of the threat that the Forsaken gave. While Phobos and Cedric did join the heroes; Sebastian ended up fighting Cole one-on-one in Phantasma as I decided that was the best way to go about dealing with Sebastian and given him more screen time.
Ryu was a character slightly based off of my dream, but was mostly originally. Ryu was from the world Dragonia and was a forsaken by his own doing as he left his world to find a strong opponent to kill him as he was a deathseeker, someone seeking a way to die, but he wanted it to be in one final epic battle. Ryu generally had very little changed of him, he was never meant to become good, but was meant to become very close friends with, Taranee and although still strong in his belief and general uncaring of most things was going to get his wish of dying, but also make sure that Taranee lived by sacrificing his life to protect her when Seroth would have gone on his streak of killing members of the Forsaken, however in the end Ryu was killed by Taranee and helped turn the story a bit by revealing to WITCH that Cole was the original leader and founder of the Forsaken.
Gabriel who forsake his own world Lunaria and its people for them treating him as nothing more then a means to speak to their originally leader as he was the voice of Fenrir. Gabriel was originally intended to become a hero and be close with, Irma. While he ended up being close with Irma, he was killed by the traitor Cronos.
Vampire was from the world of Nosferatu. Vampira was a character from my one of my dreams, who like Sebastian really didn't have a reason for why she was forsaken. She was originally planned to be Dracula's daughter and eventually fought and killed in Nosferatu. She was also planned to be in a relationship with Seroth and another time planned to be in one with Gabriel. Originally going with the idea of being in a relationship with, Seorth she was planned to be killed by him as he was only using her and the rest of the Forsaken to restore the crystal and make a paradise world for, Cole, Kido and himself, but in the end she was killed by Hay Lin. I wanted to kill her later on in the story as I enjoyed her quite a bit and though she had a fun style, but I ended up killing her in the second chapter.
Thorn who was a character based off of a dream from the world Gardenia were he was a cruel being who was imprisoned for killing numerous people, being forsaken for that reason. Thorn was meant to have a larger story with CHYKN who were the ones who imprisoned him, but in the end he only dealt with Kadma and Yan Lin the only living members of CHYKN, eventually being killed by Cornelia and Kadma.
Cronos was a character from a dream who was from the world Spiritonia. Cronos was a forsaken because of his cruel nature to the people of his world often killing most of them himself. Cronos was a character originally meant to be killed way later in the story, but ended up being killed a few chapters in. While he originally was always meant to stay with the Forsaken, that was changed turning him into a traitor against them with the hope that Cole and WITCH would weaken the other Forsaken and he could kill them and take their power making him stronger, although that only happened with Gabriel. The original idea for Cronos also resolved around the original idea of Cole being with the Forsaken as it was during this time that Cole was to turn over a new leaf because of a past issue with Cronos over him killing an innocent child that Cole was friends with. In the end, Cronos was killed by a team attack from Will and Irma allowing Irma to finally get her revenge against him for killing Gabriel.
Terror was from an actual canon WITCH world, Meridian. He was a forsaken for his cruelty as he and his family had the ability to take over other people's minds and often used them to do horrible things before killing them themselves. Terror was killed about halfway or so through the story which is were I wanted him to die. Terror was always meant to turn against the Forsaken thinking with his powers he would be invincible, although he aligned with Cronos for a short while, he always planned to go against him as well, that time coming sooner when Seroth discovered Cronos betrayal. Terror had a lot of planned importance in early things. At one point he was the one planned to turn Cole's parents evil and forcing Cole to kill them, although that idea would also go to his father which would have given Cole and Terror and intense hatred. Another part planned for Terror which he did do was eventually use his powers on Cole causing Cole to go berserk and start attacking everyone and everything as Terror couldn't control him. While Cole was meant to kill Terror during this time, Terror ran away from Cole and ended up being killed by Kido as he and Seroth knew of his betrayal.
Magnus was a character from the world Metaloria, who was a forsaken for no given reason. Magnus was solely created for me to bring in a weaker, but still powerful villain that I could kill off as I didn't want to kill any of the others early on. Magnus fit his exact role as given for him.
Phobos and Cedric before being made heroes were two characters planned to be made part of the Forsaken, something that was stated by Seroth himself in the story.
As well as all of those planned things mentioned, at times there was planned to be a prequel that would tell the story of Cole's time in the Forsaken. A couple of different sequels were planned for it as well, including one of Cole's history with Ryu as Ryu was considered for a while to be another founding member of the Forsaken with Cole, Seroth and Kido, but was banished from the group because of his more crueler uncaring nature to their plan of making a world for them, to even the next gen being continued years later from this.
In the end I never really cared for the prequel or sequel thing deciding I wanted the next gen to really stand on its own as its own thing and as time went by I cared less and less for the story as a whole really only keeping it around because it was my first posted and finished story. Like Warriors of the Crystals though that only took it so far and the story became way outdated.
Also like Warriors of the Crystals I have considered a re-make of the story with a great deal of changes and likely using some old planned things, just like with Warriors of the Crystals I find that as something highly unlikely, although I won't close the door on it completely either, the door is as closed as it can be without actually being closed.

I've been working a little on and off on chapter 4 of War of the Guardians and I'm close to the end of the chapter.
The issue I am currently having though is the ending of the chapter is the fight between Meridian's Guardians and Earth/Heatherfield's Guardians. Well, really not to much of a fight, mostly just a team attack against a team attack with a little extra here and there type of thing, but the fight was never really meant to be a big or long one.
Still though, the issue is the fight in general. Writing fight scenes used to be my thing, it was something I did good and something I did often. Looking back and all of my older stories and taking all of chapters into account, there is probably a handful at best that didn't have a fight in it. Because of that and the fact that I wanted to focus on more important things to stories, I got rather burned out on writing fight scenes. It's a little easier to handle major fight scenes that I've been planning for a while that are highly important and had been being built up to for a while, but minor fights, fights that are important, but aren't majorly big deals for one reason or another or things I find even harder to write.
It's hard to say when I'll get this last bit of chapter 4 done and then posted. It could be sometime today, it could be tomorrow, I don't really know. It all really just comes down to whenever I can get past this little issue and move on from there.

Chapter 4 of War of the Guardians has finally been posted. It took me a little while, but I finally got it done. As of right now their are no plans for Chapter 5, except for the obvious laid out continuing of Elyon's team gathering Hearts, but their is currently no specifics planned for Chapter 5.
I'm actually going to take a little break from War of the Guardians [Unless some great inspiration suddenly hits me] I know that there seemed to be a bit of a break for chapter 4, but really that was a slowly working on and off type of thing. So this is really my first time taking a little break from the story just to give me a little time to try and come up with what to do next on it and try to work on a few other things for a little while.
Two of the things I'm hoping to work on is a random chapter for my old WITCH/Final Fantasy VII story and one of an old, although never reaching beyond the planning stages, planned story WITCH/Breath of Fire. I've been getting a little inspiration with them from playing Breath of Fire 1 and then 4 not to long ago and seeing some old pictures of Final Fantasy VII.
Now when I say random chapter, that's exactly what I mean, random chapter. I've done tons and tons of planning for these stories, especially WITCH/Final Fantasy VII, but I've never really been able to get anywhere near actually writing something. Since all of the planning hasn't really worked for me, I'm hoping to just ignore all of the planned things and just write some random chapter and see how things go from there, maybe just fit the characters and their roles into whatever comes from the random chapter.
Problem is, while random chapters are just that; random, meaning that virtually anything can happen in them, I still feel that I need some little bit of an idea, nothing big, nothing major, more of just a starting point to get me started and see how things go from there. So long as it fits in with the Final Fantasy VII universe or the Breath of Fire universe then everything should be good.
I could ruse some help in coming up with a starting point for me. Even those who don't know of Final Fantasy VII and the Breath of Fire series, or just doesn't know much about them, but still might have an idea, then please let me know. I can the suggested idea and make whatever tweaks need to be made to fit into the respective universe so all is good there, just need some suggestions to help me get started.

Something I've always enjoyed doing, which at this point I think should be clear, is going back and looking at different various ideas that I've planned or considered at some point.
And not just with stories as a while either, but chapters to stories I have written. I enjoyed looking back at different things I had considered doing, but didn't and seeing how that has changed the story and how the story could have been if I had went with another planned idea instead of the one I ended up going with.
Something that fits in with all of that is certain character ideas. Now generally I also enjoy doing looking at character ideas that were planned for a story or something I was going to do with a character, but didn't. However that isn't what I'm referring to with this. What I'm referring to with this is character ideas that I had actually considered giving my characters that would appear if different stories, basically in a sense meaning it would have been a canon thing for my characters, something that would be used often in different stories.
Similar to how I did with my stories, old character ideas is something I've considered mentioning here. While I have considered doing something like this for my character section, I'd rather save that section for actual canon things for my characters and put old considered ideas here, assuming I decide to do it.
At this time I'm not entirely sure if I will do it, but I found it a rather interesting idea that could be fun to it.

Since this is the Welcome thread, I'll introduce myself here!
I'm Nikk, but you can also call me NIkly. I am mostly active on DeviantArt where I post my drawings and stuff in general, but mostly art. I love to design characters and to invent them.
I love Cole's characters, they really are a lot, but each of them has a different personality and to me they are all alive.
Other about me... I come from Italy, I am in University and almost always submerged by uni stuff, I love to listen to all kind of music and to chat with people. Oh, and I love cats.
I hope we will have fun all together, nice to meet you! *waves hand in greeting*

Nice avatar! Have I seen that pic before? Can't remember if you showed it to me before or not, looks kinda familiar, but I'm not entirely.
Honestly you've worked with me on my characters for long and know so much about them that I often feel that they are as much yours as they are mine.

Thanks! He's my favourite character of mine atm. I think you may already know his name, Samuel. I don't know if I ever showed you the pic, probably yes, but yeah, I can't remember either.
Ahah, yeah, I've been working with you for such long that I got to know them quite nicely. At first it was very confusing, since I am not used to such an amount of characters, but now I can easily remember them all. I like them all and it's quite hard to have favourites, but I think that they may be: Axel, Willow and Irvine so far, with Willow being my top fav.

Yeah, they actually started out as a small group at first, but then I just started adding in more and more for different various reasons and at the end, I just couldn't get rid of any of them I liked them all to much.
Willow is my favorite as well, I always knew going in she would be.

I said a little while back that I was taking a small break from War of the Guardians and while that is still the case, that doesn't mean that I won't work on gathering some ideas until that point.
One of the main things I'm currently trying to decide is who should be the next team that Meridian's Guardians go after. The good thing in this is that it gives room to put different characters from the W.I.T.C.H series together as a team an it gives me a good chance to use characters that I haven't ever used before, or that I don't use very often. In fact one planned team at some point is likely to be Runic.
However another thing that I'm working with along with the characters is what their powers are and Runic has Ran-Rah who is Water and Shalin who is Air the problem with that is as of now there have been four current teams of Guardians shown [WITCH's moms have been shown as previous Guardians while it's been mentioned that Siegfried and Yumi are previous Guardians] of the four teams show so far 3 of them had someone with Water, Air and Metal, so those are three powers that I'm hoping to avoid. Energy, Earth and Nature have been shown twice, Light one in a half I guess since Cole has Twilight which is Darkness and Light while Elyon just has Light. Ice, Fire and Sound have only been shown once and I guess Darkness in a sense has been shown as half with it being part of Cole's Twilight power.
So what I'm looking for is some W.I.T.C.H character I've never used before or hardly used that could be teamed together and could probably fit with Ice as their power, someone with Fire as their power and Sound as their power. Darkness for someone and Light for someone is likely to be the last two options for the five.

Hello! Sorry I havn't been very active the last week. I've been busy designing for a commission I took some time ago and when I have an idea I sketch and sketch, forgetting everything around me... Not the best attitude, I know but it works Anyhow! Nikk (easier to spell)! *wave heavily* It's nice to see you around. Heard a lot about you and your art is really great. You have some good ideas there. Especially like your glowing and magical effects. Very creative, I must say! As for your last post, Cole, do you want suggestions for the characters or was it merely a Report? In any case it's good to hear you're still working on the story. I'll check by the other sections another time, since my battery is low *drop*... See ya soon! *wave again*

Ah, so that's why you haven't been around.
Yes please, I'd love some suggestions. I spent hours last night reading up on various characters and gathering pictures to try and decide who'd be best to use and what power to give them, but as of right now, no luck, so some suggestions would be very much appreciated.

Nice to meet you, Yangi! Your art is gret too, and I love the way you design clothes, they really are great. I've tried to think about some WITCH-related character, but most of the ones who came to my mind were people from Heaterfield. Can they work too, even if they will end to be Guardians of other planets? The only two people that I could think of that aren't from Heaterfield/earth were Yua the Banshee and Ari of Arkhanta.

Were they come from doesn't matter. Canon wise Orube and Alchemy aren't from Meridian, but I'm virtually treating them as if they are for War of the Guardians. So were they are originally from in the comics or TV series doesn't matter.
I've already got all of the characters from there, but thanks anyway Yangi.
PS: Love the animated image Nikk!

Yangi: I'd like to go through all the post that I have yet to read, about your J.R.O.C.K. story, I like the fact that the Guardians have different nationality, it feels like they truly are the Earth's Guardians. So, little by little, I'll read everything! @cole: then, the characters that I can think of are: Satan, Martin, Eric, Nigel, Joel, Peter, chris and Lillian. Not a lot of characters, I know. Thanks, I think the animation is still a little off, but it's nice for a first attempt!

I had considered Peter, Chris and Lillian for quite a while, in fact I considered them as Earth's Guardians before I considered Uriah, his gang and the Grumpers.
Problem was I had decided that Earth would have the weakest Guardians and I wouldn't have wanted those three to be part of that and it seemed a little bit harder to justify what Meridian's Guardians did if they attacked the siblings of some of their closest friends.
Hard to decide which part I like best, its close between the stars and the wings, mostly just because I think the wings look pretty cool.

Nikk: I'm happy to hear, however you can take your time. No reason to rush things But I'm happy to hear your planning on reading a Little into it. How about Carmilla for Sound? Do you know the issue with those two sisters and their father being a Little... well like a crazy scientist? I think one of them might be good for Ice. If you don't know them, here's the link to the younger one: disney.wikia.com/wiki/Shinobu_TakedaIn the Comic their father experiments with a strange ice world, that's why I thought it might fit. For fire... hm. How about Erin? The exchange student that comes to Heatherfield to mess with the WITCHs' feelings and relations: disney.wikia.com/wiki/Erin_Peyton

Seems like some nice choices. I have considered using them for different various things before, but for whatever reason I never did. I think I could put them at the top of the list as most likely for the next team, especially Erin. Not sure why, but I've always wanted to use her, more so then most other characters I haven't used before.

Currently running on exactly zero hours of sleep. Had an issue with my computer last night when something that I don't know what was suddenly downloaded on to my computer and messed up it real bad. I was beginning to think I was going to have to get a new computer, but hours later I finally lucked out and my computer is back up and running.

It had never really come to my attention until recently, but I've come to discover that I don't actually have a discussion page of any kind for my characters.
Their is Q&As which is kinda similar, but that is more from the character, which a discussion would be more along the lines of asking me questions about the characters to get to know them from the way I view different things with them as well as learn of different ideas that I may have planned at some or another, but decided not to use or ideas that I'm currently leaning towards using for them, that type of thing.
Now granted something like a Profile page get some like a good place for what I have so far, but I'd rather keep that page just for certain profile things. I guess the welcome page here could be a good place for asking me questions about the characters. Then again, maybe I don't need a discussion page for the characters and I'm just overthinking things, what does everyone else think?

It's maybe not so bad to get a discussion page. That way it's easier to see if what you posted is something on your stories or if it's something in General, like the Pokemon and other games sstuff or Infos on things that don't directly connect to the stories you posted here in the Welcome section. That's what I think

Fair point, I do often happen to mix them all up to together here, for the most part I don't mind doing it, but some things have their own more specific things so its probably not needed to mix it all up together.
Let me ask you this other question on the matter then. A discussion page for each and every single character, is that maybe a bit to much? Profile, Pictures and Q&A all make sense in that regard, but not sure a discussion page for each one of them is needed, so would that be the way to go, or should there be some grouped thing for some of them to get all of the details about certain groups of characters? I was always planned on giving CHAOS and the kids their own grouped section anyway, could be something good to add there for them.

Yeah I guess it might be best to get the CHAOS ones and the children one of their own. If you want a section for General Story updates you could add that as well. Other than that it would work for me that way.

I had originally intended to do something like that with the stories, but I just always came here. Not sure why I did, I just always came here afterwards for whatever reason.

I was wondering too where a discussion page on the characters was, but I couldn't find it. Yes, it would be nice to have the CHAOS guys and the DREAMERS on, so we can write on there stuff that specifically concern them.
